We host members-only star parties on occasion - depending primarily on the weather and phase of the moon. These events are announced via the members-only email list. We may also host a small number of public events and these are announced on the calendar on the main home page of this website.
We support our local community and promote interest in astronomy by providing star parties on request. These are also announced to our members-only email list and are opportunities for members to volunteer to bring their equipment and share sky views with community groups.

Our Guidelines
If we decide to participate in any public or private star party event, we do have expectations for a good experience for both attendees and our members. If you are hosting an approved event please see our guidelines document.

If you want to request an event, please use the link below. Your event will be registered and reviewed by our Outreach Coordinator and other Officers. We will notify the contact person named in the request of our review and decision.
